Today is my stop for the Blog Tour for Home Coming by Isabel Ashdown where I didn't have the chance to read it so instead I will shine a spotlight on it. I was thrilled to be asked by Tracy Fenton from Compulsive Reading in conjunction with who organised this tour to take part along with some other fab book bloggers. Today is my stop for the Blog Tour of Junction of Earth and Sky by Susan Buttenwieser where I've a review of her latest book. I was thrilled to be asked by Tracy Fenton from Compulsive Reading in conjunction with Zaffre who organised this tour to take part along with some other fab book bloggers. Well, where do I start with this review!? I didn't just like it, I absolutely LOVED IT. It was brilliant and I CAN'T recommend it enough, to be honest I wasn't too sure when I first started the book if I was going to like it but I'm so glad I stuck with it as it was brilliant and very emotional in parts so prepare yourself and maybe have a tissue handy (just incase). It has it all from family, love, lies, betrayal to more darker subject matters of alcoholism and domestic violence which was covered and handled with great empathy, was well researched and described so well I could feel it coming out on to me on the pages. I even had to slow down reading it as I didn't want it to end, the story flowed really well and at a fast pace too and there were parts in the book I could feel my heart rate raising a little so it's definitely not for the fainthearted. This is Susan's first novel and I hope it won't be too long before there will be another novel from her as this novel will stay with me for a long time.
